The top sexologist estimates that 43% of Indian men would have premature ejaculation at some point in their lives. Additionally, the issue is under diagnosed, which prevents treatment.

For the diagnosis of this condition and its treatment, we have created a Specialized Consultation on Ejaculation Disorders at the sexologist clinic to address these issues

What are Ejaculation Disorders?

When a male is exposed to sexual stimulation, his urethra releases sperm, which is known as the male ejaculation. Ejaculation disorder is a term used to describe when this ejaculation mechanism is altered. The process of ejaculation is typically characterised by the release of sperm within 15 to 20 seconds and afterwards, though the latter is relative.

Even so, there are many different ejaculation problems.

Types Of Ejaculation Disorders?

Male ejaculation issues typically fall into one of three categories:

● Premature ejaculation
● Delayed ejaculation
● Retrograde ejaculation

How Is This Pathology Diagnosed?

The patient’s appointment with the sexologist serves as the foundation for the majority of the diagnosis of ejaculation issues. The patient is required to give the sexologist his comprehensive medical history during this consultation.
The specialist will be able to assess whether the patient has the ejaculation condition always or only occasionally through it and in conjunction with the interview.

This is crucial when there is a distinction between the disorder’s presentation during sexual activity and during masturbation.

The sex doctor may decide that it is necessary to do certain diagnostic tests to identify the presence of this pathology following a physical examination. These can range from analysis to sperm or urine analysis, among other things.

Treatment Of Ejaculation Disorder

Treatment for premature ejaculation varies widely based on the condition’s form and, most importantly, its underlying cause. The patient is directed to a sexologist if it is established that the cause is emotional or psychological, who will assist him in resolving his issue through consultations.

However, if the cause is physiological, both the condition and the physiological cause will affect how it is treated.

Since psychological factors are typically to blame for delayed ejaculation, psychological counselling is typically recommended to address the issue.
